About Us

Homeschooling has been a part of the Bourbeau family for a long time. As people who have been homeschooled ourselves, we have carried on the tradition with all its benefits, trials, successes, and failures within our own family. As a large family with a very busy schedule, time has become a supremely valued commodity.  We have experienced first hand the hassle involved with manually tracking, recording, and averaging our children’s grades, and we decided to find a more efficient solution. Our solution was to design and build a piece of software that would handle the heavy lifting for us. Originally started as a simple one-family program, word got out and soon relatives and friends were asking to obtain a copy of the program for their own personal use. Thus, what started as a family project developed into something more and ultimately became A+ GradeBook.
